DMCA
thecupcut.com respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. This page explains how copyright owners can report alleged infringement on our website, what a valid takedown notice must contain, where to send it, and how the counter-notice process works.
How to Report Copyright Infringement
If you believe that content on thecupcut.com infringes your copyright, you may request its removal by sending us a takedown notice that complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). We review every notice we receive and will remove or disable access to material that we determine to be infringing.
What to Include in a Takedown Notice
To be valid, your notice must include all of the following information:
- Identification of the copyrighted work: describe the work you own or are authorized to represent, and include a link or reference if it is published online.
- Identification of the infringing material: provide the exact URL or URLs on thecupcut.com where the allegedly infringing content appears, with enough detail for us to locate it.
- Your contact information: your full name, email address, and phone number so we can reach you regarding your complaint.
- A good-faith statement: a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- An accuracy statement: a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.
- Your signature: a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
Where to Send Your Notice
Please send your takedown notice by email to husnainapfa2@gmail.com with the subject line “DMCA Takedown Notice”. We aim to acknowledge receipt within 48 hours and to complete our review within 7 business days. Incomplete notices may delay processing, so please double-check that you have included all six items listed above before sending.
Counter-Notice Basics
If you believe that material was removed by mistake or because of misidentification, you may send us a counter-notice. Your counter-notice should include: identification of the removed material and the URL where it previously appeared; your name, address, phone number, and email address; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification; your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in your location; and your physical or electronic signature. Please send counter-notices to husnainapfa2@gmail.com with the subject line “DMCA Counter-Notice”. After receiving a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material within 10 to 14 business days unless the original complainant informs us that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the alleged infringement.
Repeat Infringers
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to thecupcut.com for users who repeatedly post or share infringing content.
